Jay Gaskets manufactures Ring Joint Gaskets (RTJ) in Vasai East, Mumbai. Ring joint gaskets are machined in one single piece from forged or rolled solid metal. They are built for high pressure and high temperature, and for service where corrosive media are present.
Our ring joint gaskets are strictly manufactured to API 6A and ASME B16.20.
Types and cross-sections
- Oval section, type R
- Octagonal section, type R
- RX pressure-energised rings
- BX pressure-energised rings
Each ring is identified by its R, RX or BX number, which relates to the flange size (NPS), pressure class and flange standard (ASME B16.47 or API Specification 6A). Give us the ring number, or the flange details, and we will supply the correct ring.
