Jay Gaskets manufactures PTFE (Teflon) gaskets in Vasai East, Mumbai, cut from moulded PTFE sheet to standard sizes or to your drawing. PTFE is chemically inert to almost all media, which makes it a common choice for corrosive, food and pharmaceutical service.

- Cut PTFE gaskets to standard sizes or customer specification
- Slit PTFE envelope gaskets, V-type and milled type
- Fused PTFE envelope gaskets for tanks and manholes, with inserts of CAF, rubber, stainless steel corrugated or others as specified
- Segmented (dovetail-jointed) PTFE gaskets for diameters larger than the width of available PTFE sheet
Why an envelope gasket?
An envelope gasket puts PTFE on the wetted face and a more resilient insert inside. You get PTFE’s chemical resistance with better recovery and sealing than solid PTFE.
